NOVEMBER 17 1936 Fine day. Took my car to Farley to have lights, etc. repaired - Hans brot me home and took me back in P.M. to get it. Ironed. Went to Called Aid mtg at Edna M's in P.M. 17 there. 1937. Thru ironing by 9:20. Mended, worked on bathroom rug. Colder. Frank and I called on Mrs. Rollis in eve. Mrs. Edwards and Roger (I.S.C. '37) there. 1938. Washed and put on 2 more storm windows. Needed nap in P.M. as I woke at 5 every morning this week. Gave back steps final coat of gray paint, tho it was quite chilly. Letter from Hans. 45° to 1939. Woke at 3:40 - indigestion second time this week. Cleaned buffet, etc. baked 2 fruit cakes, varnished front door, cleaned my room, cooked [illegible]. Letter from Grace. Card from Hans. Wrote Elsie, got 2 chickens from Adler's. 19
