NOVEMBER 20 Baked bread and 3 pumpkin pies 2 of which and esc. potatoes were for "New England dinner" at church at 6. I ticketed the cafeteria trays. Frank sang on the "Major Bowes Amateur hour" program. Epworth calendars out. Nearly 1 when Miss Crombie brot us home. At 9 went to McFarland, took Mrs. Brant and Ruth to Hope, then Frank to Madison. Still fairly cold. Got bawled out by a policeman for unconsciously driving past a red light on Capitol square. All of us went to bed early - and slept. Slept till 7! Mrs. Bills didn't get to S.S. in time so I gave "A Country Woman's Thanksgiving". Taught the H.S. group. Wrote Pauline, Jennie Maxwell, Elsie, sent card to Hans. 35° Chilly and cloudy. Hans took me to Quisling's for shot. Dr. Sverre Q. book from months in N.Y. Hans left for Ill. after early lunch. Mended a bib. Home Ec Club at Jenks in eve. Signed up for radio and hobbies.
