DECEMBER 8 19 Tired. Cleaned up the house. 19 Didn't get up till 9. Sewed a little in P.M. on Frank's coat, but managed to break my spectacles before turning on lights in eve. Girls not home till 5:30. Sent (7). 19 Ironed some, finished crocheting 1st piece of chair set. Studied and gave review of chaps. 3, 4 5 of Moving Millions at Missionary Society. Stopped briefly at Billington's and at Hadley's. Baked date cookies for M.S. 19 Went in with girls, went to Quisling's, started Christmas shopping, had windshield wiper put back on car. Continued warm weather hard on pork. Wrote Helene. 19
