DECEMBER 9 1936. Baked bread, 3 pies, made pinache, Neufchatel cheese; took a lot of stuff to bazaar about 3; helped in children's booth; children and I all there for chicken supper; enjoyed play "An Economical Boomerang". 1937. Worked most of day on Frank's overcoat, finishing it, but overtiring myself. Wrote Dora in eve. Zero at morning, 10° at noon. Hilda saw Margaret Scott at school. 1938 Ironed some, embroidered on a pillowcase. Got 2d prize in Dane Co. on Wis. pea recipes! Will get half case of peas! Mrs. Stanley Witzel here in P.M. Girls and I at S.S. orchestra concert at Trousdale in eve. 1939. Baked date cookies, made brine for pork, finished Velma's brown skirt, washed my hair. K waxed linoleums. Velma helped me launder d.r. curtains. Mr. Weidemann called in eve. 19
