Heard in telephone that is was six above. Feb 7th. Started hauling manure again this morn but broke chain on spreader. Got wagon ready for going to town. A nice day again. Feb 8th. Hauled oats to town, blocks home No 206. Feb 9th. Attended church. A quiet day. Feb 10th. Hauled fodder from Guss Johnson's. Joe helped me. Cleaned 2 loads of manure. out of barn in evening. Oscar Anderson here in afternoon and assessed me. Feb 11th. Went to Boone. Hauled home 154 block in afternoon. Feb 12th. Sawed wood today. Bedded cows in morning and put a little straw in the barn. Cloudy and the weather rather rain. Feb 13th. Rain. Fixed 1 jack in forenoon. Blocks for candle holder. Went to town in afternoon.
