June 12th. Spaded in garden A.M. Cultivated in afternoon. Joe, Bette and little fellow down in evening. June 13th. Cultivated all day. Jersey Heifer calved. June 14th. Little showers. Cultivated all day. Had to quit on account of a shower about 4:30. Plowed a little more afterwards tho. Letter from Ben today. June 15th. To church. Frank and Herbert down in afternoon. June 16th. Weather hot. Plowed corn. O'Malley cow calved today. A fine calf. Albert subscribed for Farmer Fireside. June 17th. Hot. Plowed until about 4 o'clock. Red sow farrowed. Rained at about 4:30. June 18th. Went to town in morning after axle grease and oil. Cultivated in afternoon. June 19th. Cultivated again. Finished the first line. Cleaned barn in evening.
