Dec 24th. Drove up to Aaron's in forenoon. Also picked a little corn in forenoon. Picked in afternoon. Dec 25th. Christmas. To church in morning. Hauled home a load of fodder in afternoon. Dec 26th. Got up late. Fire out in hard-coal stove. Screwed together house. Packed up car. Picked corn in P.M. Dec 27th. Picked corn all day. Dec 28th. Sunday. Over to Edwins a little in P.M. Arvid, Mary & Mrs. Johnson over for supper. Nice day. Dec 29th. Fine weather. To Everett Donelson's with timbers. Hauled home 460 brix from schoolhouse. Cleaned barn. Hauled straw and fodder. Dec 30th. Got up late. Puttered around home some in forenoon. Helped get Albins cattle started. Hauled load of shell corn for Erickson
