Among those which move are Apollo, Delta Tau Delta, Sigma Pi, Achoth, Alpha Xi Delta, and Gamma Phi Beta. The new location will move to 503 S Clinton. Delta Tau Delta will occupy their present house a part of the year. They expect to build a new fraternity house on the lot between the Kappa Sigma and Sigma Chi houses where they will move as soon as it is completed. Decoration Day will be moving day for Alpha Xi Delta. Their new home is located at the corner of Jefferson and Van Buren Streets. The Gamma Phis have leased the house at 308 N. Clinton and will be located there next fall. Phi Alpha Delta expect to have a house next year, but as yet the location has not been chosen. KAY ATTENDS CONFERENCE Dean George F. Kay left yesterday afternoon for Lawrence, Kansas, to attend a conference of the Deans of liberal arts' colleges of the state universities of the Mississippi valley. Previous to coming to the University of Iowa, Dean Kay was an instructor of geology in the University of Kansas. Washington Street CONCERT WILL BE GIVEN University Orchestra To Give Free Concert Sunday May 18 The University orchestra will give a concert in the natural science auditorium Sunday afternoon, May 18. Almost forty members are in the orchestra this year, and most of them have had considerable experience. Dr. O. E. Van Doren, conductor of the University band and orchestra, is preparing a program of classic and modern selections. Adrian Funnekotter, violin instructor in the University and formerly of the Minneapolis Symphony orchestra, is one of the new members of the orchestra. This free concert will take the place of the annual evening concert. UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT The University High School Glee club, composed of a combined chorus of junior and senior boys and girls, will give a concert Friday evening at 8 o'clock in the Women's gymnasium. Spanish and solo dances together with a flag drill are special numbers promised. CAPT. HOWARD BYE RETURNS FROM FRANCE Capt. Howard Bye, M. C. arrived in New York last Friday morning and was sent to Camp Merritt, N. J., according to a telegram received here by Dr. L. W. Dean. He expects to be sent to Camp Dodge in the near future and will probably receive his discharge and be back at the University within ten days. Captain Bye is a graduate of the Rush Medical college and was assistant professor of surgery here four years. He enlisted in the summer of 1917 and has been in France since shortly after that time. DIVER IS INJURED Ray Staack, L. A. freshman sustained a severe gash in the head last evening while diving in the men's pool. Several stiches were necessary to close the wound. According to by standers Staack disobeyed the warning of the coach in executing his fancy diving and suffered injury. Marion Smith will go to Ames to attend the Tri-Delt formal there this week. Carrie Sampson, senior, will visit at her home in Kamrar this week end. W. Earl Hall will leave the University Friday to take up a position on the editorial staff of the Milwaukee Journal.
