it is pleasant to receive letters or papers from home. At six dress parade came of, quite a number of visitors present, but company Letters were given us, our letter is G. which throws us one Co from the extreem left. I think I shall like Camp life.-- June 1st. 1864 On board the steamer Von Phul bound for some places down the river. It has been a long time since I wrote any thing in my journal
