Saturday June 17th.. Still in camp near Memphis Tenn Last Wednesday I was detailed as Lieu. of the picket guard I had a good time was much pleased with pick duty - saw plenty of fun as the lines were entirely closed and no one permitted to pass out - Some who came to town in the morning on buisiness coming to the lines in the evening found that they could not get through, and that they would have to remain in town until the lines were opened - One of the
