I stole fifteen dollars - The sentence was immediately put into execution and the fellow did not seem to care a bit for it - This evening we had only one letter for the regiment - no mail having come down the river - We expect a large mail tomorrow - Oh. how I should hate to be a private in our army - They have hard work and poor pay - Wednesday June 22. This is the morning for Commencement at Mt Pleasant - I suppose those who are there will have a good time. This the first commencement
