Surgeon Estabrook was very "tight" two or three times before he left - He is throwing himself away - Other wise he is a fine man and has been a chaplain in the army Sabbath afternoon July 17th. This has been a quiet day nothing of importence has occurred - The chaplain is sick at Memphis and we have had no service today - The sabbath passes heavily when we have no service and no sabbath school - The rebels lost a Surgeon yesterday our men gobbled him and and brought him to camp.
