as R. Q. M - But this morning I was relieved - I have not been able to attend to the duties of the office - The R. R. co. took off a car for me containing 40 Boxes of hard tack two sacks of corn and half a bale of hay - And as I have been unwell I could not look after it - If I should have to pay for it it would slightly decrease my pay - A tent also was lost the day the regiment left - On last Sunday our regiment left its camp groun near Memphis, and embarking on the cars they went out about 37" Miles
