Wednesday July 20th. 1864 Yesterday I was quite unwell and took two doses of opium which made me very dul and my head felt like a bullet - much better today - On monday afternoon a boy in one of the companies was shot through the leg but not dangerously wounded I have been looking for such accidents for a long time and think we have been quite fortunate that no more have occurred - Yesterday morning a boy of co "K" in swimming got beyond
