Sabbath P.M. 5. o'clock This morning at nine oclock we received the word that Memphis was attact by rebels. mesingers were dispached to bring back the scouts, they returned at about eleven oclock At 2 or 3 we received word that the rebs raided through memphis captured 500 men and took all the stores they wanted - It created very little excitement in camp - the boys behave like veterans. Church this evening at Six - Shall attend - no train out today, and consequently no mail look for one tomorrow.
