September 12, 1964 Dear Bob: We are very happy to have your letter of yesterday, and especially grateful for the prints you enclosed. In fact, we didnot know that you had joined in the picture taking. The picture of the boulder and tablet is superb. I hope I can do as well on my next trip to Adel. And the personnel you chose to flank the marker pleases us no end, the smiling and the unsmiling. It was wonderful to see you four men again, who were such close friends of Nile's. Earlier this week we wrote to Max regretting that we will not be in Iowa City for the reunion of the Iron Men, At first, When Evy suggested it last Spring, we thought we might like to see the boys and enjoy the game. But more sober thought brought the conclusion we would find it a trying time. Thanks again, Bob, for your kindness, and if you find Omaha on your route please plan to call us and spend a little time with us if you can. Sincerely Nile C. Kinnick, Sr. Bob Hogan
