reverse at Knoxville and troops needed there. 2nd Walked to Newark with Thayer and learned from the Commercial that the 31st would be at Col. today. Missed the 11 train but got off on the 4:20 freight and arrived at C. at 8 1/2 p.m. Found the boys in the Barracks and stayed all night with them.
