the cars came feeling their way down the track only one day behind our advance * 21" Were told to wash and clean up as we would remain here all day if not longer. Weather very warm. Our corps seems to be all that is left here. Cant see the point to our remaining here. Reinforcements are coming up all along the RR. (In Left Margin:-) The 9th Ohio left for home. This is one of the grandest things of the war. RR communication running up almost to our skirmish line.
