The June 24, 1863 My dear father and mother i sat don to lat you now that i am wall and i hope that thes fue lins will find you the same i sand you 20 dolers by the pay master to stlouse and he will exprese from thar to Monticello and Frad sand 20 dolers to so when you git it rite to us we are oll well here now the rabels ant surrendet yet but i tink tha will surrender sun we had a little shoure last night and it is qit plesent this moring tha are
