Gorgin hith June the 2nd, 1864 Dear father and mother and ister I sat don to lat you know that I am yet a live and I hope that those fue lins will find you the same I hant had know latter from you for god whale but it Cant be halpt becose the male Cant git to us we git male once a whale and we had a Chance to sand a male I right as often as I can thank god I had goud luck so far we had bin in som hard plase's but we had not lost many men yet and I hope that we will have goud success
