November Nov 2nd all quiet Nov 3rd went out foraging on kingston road Nov 4th all quiet. Nov 5th went on picket, the troops had a jubilee (at Knoxville) over the Potomac victory [ditto] 6th all quiet [ditto] 7th [ditto ditto] [ditto] 8th went on picket [ditto] 9th drew new clothing waged war on grey backs & completely annihilated their whole army by boiling 1st Brig left here for Kingston, snowed a little.
