TUESDAY, MARCH 22, 1864 A few quiet moments with M- before leaveing. On the Steamer Harry Johnson. Wrote an article for the Non pareil. Reading an International Magazine. WEDNESDAY 23 Wed: arrived at Keokuk quite early. Mr B- met me at the Steamer. Had a remarkaly pleasant evening in their family. THURSDAY 24 Went with Nettie to the Convent. Afternoon read in ["Hurhs"?] and "Brothers Columes". Saw Mrs Traill Conrad, Laider, Mary &c Enjoy in pleasant hours.
