TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 1864. Forenoon spent in writing, afternoon at Aid Soc'. No hope of any reading this week. Received package of circulars WEDNESDAY 13 Writing all day To many this would seem dreary, but I love it. A letter from Mrs Wittenmeyer that may tell on my future prospects. THURSDAY 14 Dinner at Mrs. Dees, affternoon to Danville. In rather a sad frame of mind but no reason for it.
