WEDNESDAY, MAY 18, 1864. Sad! Sad! Now I can weep with those that weep. My noble brother gone into the Army. God save and keep him! Pa. and Ma here today. THURSDAY 19 Went to Mt. Pleasant ride through the green fields and woods delightful. Goodness & mercy follow me FRIDAY 20 Time spent reading and writing Organized Y.S.N.L. Hope to do much for the soldiers by it. Lonely without Brother.
