THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 1864. All day in Convention closed late tonight. My affairs look brighter than for some time past, God is surely with us. Letter from B. FRIDAY 3 After a nice ride with Mrs W- called on Miss M. Received $130.00 for past services. Left Des M- at three Pleasant ride in the coach. SATURDAY 4 Burlington Home Again! Worn and tired out. Not life enough to read much less write.
