SATURDAY, JULY 2, 1864. Letter from Mrs. N- asking me to join her at Louisville. Will go, though they all object. SUNDAY 3 Church this morning. Dinner at Mr Dees. After S. School, went home with Tillie. Enjoyed Maggies sweet childish prattle exceedingly. MONDAY 4 The Glorious 4th. The excursion a success. [Comforted?] to my Darling. Home late tired and sick.
