MONDAY, JULY 11, 1864. Meeting most of the day. Manda very restless and impatient to be off to her Hospital. Mrs H- surely one of the best women I ever knew. TUESDAY 12 Busy getting ready to leave. Took the night train for Nashville. A weary dull night. [?] very kind to us. WEDNESDAY 13 Nashville At the Commission rooms with Mrs W- most of the day. Mrs W- Manda, & I a cozy time at the[Salon?], Evening reading the Bible.
