TUESDAY, JULY 26, 1864. In the afternoon went to see Manda & make known our wants at the Commission Rooms. Heat very oppressive. North British to read WEDNESDAY 27 A pleasant visitor at our kitchens this afternoon. The good work goes bravely on. Most of our sick & wounded doing well. THURSDAY 28 A number of interesting letters from home today. Like cold water to a thirsty soul.
