TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1864. Visited the State House, & from the lofty dome had a fine view of the surrounding country. WEDNESDAY 28 Visited the wards & distributed handkerchiefs. Amply rewarded by the gratitude of the sufferers. THURSDAY 29 With Mrs May went through all the wards Never enjoyed it more. God is blessing our work more & more.
