WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1864. Finished our work today. All very tired and thankful that it is over. Eve - with Jennie at Mother Baughs. THURSDAY 13 Spent the day going to Mt P -. Felt happy with Pa & Ma, Wept to leave them on the night train for Burlington. FRIDAY 14 Spent a pleasant day with Mrs. Darwin and Manda. My heart overflows with love to God, & his children. (Vertically, from bottom right:-) M - very sick.
