TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 1864. Enjoyed prayer meeting more than any before since I came here. Felt unusual devotion to God & the work he has given me. WEDNESDAY 30 The Rebel Army is not far away, and coming nearer. A large number of wounded men THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1 brought in from the front. Heart-sickening to see theirs. Good news from home. Blessings on every hand.
