MONDAY, DECEMBER 5. 1864. At the Case Rooms early. Mr K - spent the evening with us. So much more pleasant thanthe other gentlemen present. TUESDAY 6 This evening a letter from Mrs W - summoning me to her. Gladly I go. May' & Mrs [Frille?] [heard?] Dislike to leave Manda. WEDNESDAY 7 All day on the train. Evening warmly welcomed by Mrs Wittenmeyer Mrs Cole &c. Deeply thankful to God for (Vertically, from bottom right:-) their blessings.
