SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11, 1864. Too cold to attend Church. Spent most of the time reading my Bible. Talked till late with the L.D.K. Girls. MONDAY 12 Busy sewing all day Listened to and was benefited by a talk on "the higher life" by Mrs Wittenmeyer & Bro Child TUESDAY 13 Left Louisville this afternoon. Delightful interview with Mrs W - on the train. Riding all night.
