MONDAY, DECEMBER 26, 1864. Spent with. Mrs R~ at the Websters. [Be?] "A Womans Thoughts on Women" found it trash. The way by which I am led is wonderful. TUESDAY 27 Went to prayer meeting intending to go to the Home. Mrs B & Mrs R pleaded so earnestly that I remained with them. Read to them all evening WEDNESDAY 28 Called with Mr [Burwell?] on Mrs Ds family. Had a pleasant walk to the H -. Met Chaplain McDonald. Evening at prayer meeting 8th [Lanes?]
