has done the preaching we have had real good times he is trying to start a church here again. I hope he will succeed. there is to be preaching again tonight & he says perhaps it will last all next week. Mary Kepner says tell you she had backslid but she has been reclaimed & she is going to try & be a good girl now. that she had got so bad as to go to balls &C but she would not go to another for any thing. John Reed is very bad with erysipelas he has moved up to Mother Bradfords yesterday, he is so bad that they had to move him on a bed. it has settled in one of his limbs & is very painful. I am looking for Matt down to-night he has
