At School, January 31st 1865 Tuesday I recd your welcom letter of the 7th a day or two ago and as I had not had one for a week or two you know I was glad to get it It did not find us all well this time, Annie has been quite sick for a few days but she is better this morning she has had an attack of fever Polly done all she could, and yesterday morning they sent for the Dr, he thinks he can break the fever for it has not got settled yet. A B has gone to haul of a load of wheat about 20 miles, to a town south of us called Pella he will be back to day. I was sorry to here you were on the sick list I guess you had better practice a little of the caution you were giving me
