I had a letter from Blly not long ago they were all well, they have named their boy Eddy Elmer quite a nice name E. E. Hopkins I named Joe's boy C. C. Clements we have prayer & class meeting now every sabbath at Eleven Oclock & Prayer meeting every Thursday night Mr Preston will Preach at our school house next Friday night. We have a'very nice school house the nicest one in the County it is called Hazel Dell school house we have three large kerosene lamps for it they are hung from the well just as they are in churches & they light the house nicely, I guess I have told you about all the news I can think of. We are having very pleasant weather last week it rained nearly all the time, You must write often & I hope you will have got over your cold by the time you write again I shall look anxiously for that box of shells & I will take the best of care of them good bye from your ever affectionate sister Mrs Adda Bradford Marengo Iowa to J.H.
