4 I was not learning any thing and I thought that I might as well be at home Friday morning I did not go to singing last evening one of the fellows that was going to take the team was sick so none of us went but the rest of the load came in here and spent the evening we had a great time we made some toffee I wish I could send you a piece. the folks that were here were my friends Dora & Mollie & George Winters. and the other fellows name was Walker Hyett he says he has seen you he used to team from the City to Newton he knew your picture as quick as he seen it he is an awful fellow to cut up and carry on fun I do not like him much I think he is too rough but perhaps I shall change my opinion when I get better acquainted
