Pa thinks he has sold this place, there was a man from Oskaloosa came & looked at it & he liked it & agreed to pay $1200 Dollars for it provided he could sell his farm there, which he thought he could do any time he is to let us know this week. if he buys the place we will live in one part of the house until fall & then move up on the new place, if not perhaps we will stay here longer. Matt is going to put that 40 acres into small grain & if we do not sell this he will put this all to corn. he is coming down to stay in a few weeks. Our folks could not bear to be left alone & we did not think it right to leave them so we are all going
