is another Miles come in from Indianna he will live on the frank Miles place thare has aman bought the Cox place and built on it. I quit to get dinner and told father leave a space for me to finish My dear son your Mother has left a little space for me and I would say to you that we want to see you verry much but when will it be when will this dreadful war be over I dont hear much news now our paper has done comeing our club is not filled up Mr Vinyard says the prospects are better now than any time of the war the rebs have been badly whiped lately we want to see those shells you spoke of but we want you to come with them if we have our health we mean to do a little farming this summer Martin is a going to help us excuse my briefness and remember we all wish well to you your Father Samuel Mead
