Delaware Oct 4 1846 Dear Aunt I received your kind leter last eavning. it give me a new resalution to do some thing for myself and I chote for this [ankle?] Mary I have had verry gloomy feelings since I have ben hear that I cannot describe. I have had more percecution than my poor wek heart was able to baire with, but Mary I know that my redeamer lives and I will yet rejoice in him I care not for the world but my prayor is that I may over come it with all its wickedness, cumfort is not in the things of this world but it is in a humble walk before God I wish my enimies no harm but my prayor is to fordive them and pray for them for they know not what they do. it grieved me to finde out that Mr. [M?] had ben to Pa. and did not come this way on his return to Cin I have wrote to him but but hardly know whare to direct it Eugene and me talk of gowing to to cin as soon as we get redy, Aunt is verry kind to me she made me a preasant of a dres to day and some others hings that was werry nice
