The first [?] you can remember me most affectionately to Edward & James, and Edward's wife. Tell them I am anxious to receive a letter from them, and learn how they are progressing with their new establishment. Our season of late has been wet cold and backward. Wheat looks well; peaches pretty much killed, but in hopes our other fruit will do tolerable well. I have no other news but what you probably have. I hope some of you will soon write me.
