Cincinnati June 18th 1849 Dear Uncle I take my penn in hand fore the time to direct a few lines to you to let you know that you are not entirley forgotten if we are, we have had nothing hear from pa. Since aunt marry's letter last witer, Uncle David is complaning very much abut not hearing from Some of you, Margaret has been Sick better than three weeks She is getting better now but not able to Set up yet She has a babe three weeks old this day, She calls it Sarah adelaid, Sarah for her grandmother and adelaid for its Self, Margaret has been verry low, but She is out of danger now unless Some thing elce Should Set in; it is very sickly in cincinnati at present, we have the cholera hear but it is not doing as much damage as other deseases, buisness is very dull at present and prospects unfaverable, tell grandfather and Mother that we would like very much to see them and if we cannot see them tell them that margaret wants to hear from them very bad, tell uncle howell that margaret Says he must be sure and write to her soon, tell aunt mary that there is afoot hear now to ware those stockens of hers, all of the relations heare
