Conneaut April 10th. 1850 Dr. Bean You will by this time begin to think that I intend to keep up a correspondence with you weekly, but never mind, this little flurry will soon pass over and I perhaps will give you a little time to rest. We have changed our calculations a little and have concluded to have a little party at our house, the evening of the 23 of April and would be happy to see the Dr. & his lady at that time, in Conneaut Be sure to start in time to get here as soon as half past seven in the evening. Sure I shall expect to see you at that time You need not be surprized if you should happen to meet Mr Taft here &c &c &c Mary A Wood Father wishes me to tell you he would like to see you as his fences are out of repair. And some will soon have to be moved on account of the plank road. He is quite smart for him, Mother has a very bad cold and I have just put a piece of fat pork on her neck and got her in bed for the night. My throat feels very bad and sore some of the time I think your medicine helped me while I was taking it &c. M AW
