Fredrick Maryland Oct 10th 1862 I Learned last night the 29th Ohio are Encamped 1/2 mile out of the city Intend to visit them this afternoon unless Rain prevents. The wounded under my care are Improving; Recd an addition of 7 yesterday all Typhoid cases and those prostrated by fatigue & Exposure. I Visited the Camp of 29th Ohio.10th Inst. found Theodore Gould Enjoying himself verry well; He & Morton Had passed my place 2 or 3 times since I commenced Dispensing at this post. Morton is Said to be afflicted with Biles I think there will soon be an opportunity for John to come Here as Clerk or apothecary; will Know by Monday - best to gather in the corn soon as convenient now; have cribbed in open Outdoor open crib, so that it may Season before feezing comes. How comes on the Racker &c &c 12th Just closed the forenoon Duties & unless there is fresh Recruit of patients shall have an Easy time this afternoon - Via has my commission been forwarded to my address at Kingsville; I presume not but if it Has forward it to me - I wish Phineas Rogers & John Rood were here as nurses
