Is there were things that I [we] could not do without I was willing to do so I got John cloth for a coat at three and a half a yard I think rather better than his old one, and doe skin pants at /12 per yard not so fine as yours but thicker 10 yds cotton cloth for pants linings, and --, and pillow cases, his thread was cheaper than in other places it has been ten cents a spool for some time. I bought tea, thread black and white, silk and twist, and sundry little articles of the same class.
