12 1/2 oclock Jany 12th 1863. About 15 minutes after,I, Mailed My Last Letter; an Order Came for or Ordering Me to Report to Dr Notson Camp, A, about 2 Miles out of the City where, I, probably shall Remain Som[e] time provided My health will allow - The Order Issued by Medical Director on 9th. Relieving Me from Duty here and ordering me to Report at Camp A. was not Correct; I am now awaiting the Renewal - The Old Church address for My Letters was proper, No 3, Not proper. I have been for over 2 Months Surgeon in Charge of Old Episcopal. C. Hospital, and of Course that address Most Proper - now My address will be. Dr A.A.Bea[n] Camp, A, Frederick Maryland - I shall not come Home untill the first of February unless Some Thing occurs, Different from present Expectations it is a beautiful Day to-day but for 4 Day has been stormy first Snow Then Rain freeze & Rain Icy Impossible for Smoth sho[d] men or horses to move about safely - I Recd Yous of Jany 8th this Morning - Do not Direct any more in that way - You speak of Squares. He lives East & by, S, of Kelloggsville but you had better Let Him alone Unless he calls for the acct. You cant Settle with him - Those accts. I. have Sent, were Sent, Some of Them for Instance Howard & accts that occurred last fall were not sent for You to Dunn on but, to have on hand In Case You were Dunned for the acct.
