Bean Asst Surgeon Ohio Medical Staff - on The Evening of the second Day from the Date of order I called on Dr Bill; presented My Documents; He took my original order of acceptance at Frederick Saying he wanted it to Show to M Kee the present Medical Director - & before going to Camp I Visited the Med Direct office & they Erased the 2 [A.P] - Via Dr Bill Requested m to forward my acct. to Gov Tod & ask him How he wanted it Settled &c &c - to the 27 Jany 63 - all this is Simply a business transaction. Via I asked the Doctor How & when I was going to get my money; before He gave me orders as above. I believe I tried to Inform. before on This Point if so a Repetition will do no harm. A.A.B.
