Conneaut Jan 27/63 Dear Father: Yours of Jan 20th. was recieved Saturday in which you requested money your first letter asking for money was, answered by the sending $10 [thay] we recieved the news of your change of place. Today I forwared $20 by express: receipt enclosed Glad that you are as comfortablely situated as you are We moved as soon as we could after good roades came which was a week ago tomorrow it stormed the most of the day Commencing just before we got loaded. Sarah Gould died Friday funeral yesterday (sunday) service at the house. Mother has a very stif neck she cannot straighten it which to gather with her
