Wednesday September 6th 1922 I began some tatting today. Wrote to Laura. Went to the depot at supper time to mail it. Called at Burtons for paper. Thursday September 7th 1922 Did fancy work. Wrote Ida, Maurice Culbertson, and Harry Able. Went up town before supper. Called on Mrs Clark later. Friday September 8th 1922 Letter from Hattie. Wrote to her. Lizzie and I up to town in AM. Did some shopping. Went to a little play in evening. It was 42 years today since John & Hattie were married. Fine day. Saturday September 9th 1922 I wrote to Millie Byington in the morning. Lizzie and I went to Tenino by stage in afternoon. Evening at Rob Cohoons. Sunday September 10th 1922 Forenoon at Cohoons. They brought is home in PM. Read all evening. Monday September 11th 1922 Was sewing on muslin. Letter from Ott & May Baker. She is in Iowa. Tuesday September 12th 1922 Sewed in forenoon. Later wrote Hattie, May, Alice Seibert and Cousin Jen. A letter from Mary Holson tells Earl died the 9th. This would be 50 years since Will was married the first time. Evening to picture show. Wednesday September 13th 1922 Home in forenoon. Went to Aid Society in afternoon. I had a letter from Ella Wilcox about getting a room in Los Angeles. Thursday September 14th 1922 Lizzie not well. I went up town in the PM to get a Dr for her. I wrote Mary Holson and Rob Whetstone. weather fine. I took mail to the depot and read in evening.
